Synopsis:

The 13th International Conference on the Developments in eSystems Engineering DESE2020 through this special session entitled “Advanced Materials in Bridges and Buildings for Maintenance and Strengthening”, DESE 2020, will provide a platform to discuss recent technical advancements and innovations in the profession of structural engineering, construction, and traffic engineering. The conference is an excellent opportunity for the exchange of ideas and knowledge, and for discussing future challenges. The session will provide scientists, engineers, enterprisers and infrastructure managers to present and discuss the state-of-the-practice and recent advances in testing and monitoring technology, in structural modelling and assessment methods, and in the application of advanced materials for pavement, structural strengthening for buildings and bridges. The conference will provide a platform for exploring the potential of international cooperation. The special session aims to bring together the state-of-the-art research and their applications in the fields of structural engineering, and traffic engineering.
