Session Chair:
- Dr Sayed A Irfan, UpGrad Education, India.
Session Co-Chairs:
- Dr Thomas Coombs, eSystems Engineering Society, UK.
Synopsis:
Industry 4.0 is being re-shaped by breakthroughs in both artificial intelligence and generative AI, driving new efficiencies, creative workflows, and sustainable practices. This special session will survey the latest model architectures and tools that have moved beyond proof-of-concept into real-world deployment, showcase case studies where AI-driven predictive maintenance, digital twins, and generative design have yielded measurable ROI in manufacturing, healthcare, and energy, and discuss best practices for integrating generative AI responsibly—balancing innovation with data privacy, ethics, and regulatory compliance. The session will also engage participants in a live demo of a generative AI pipeline for rapid prototyping, followed by an interactive panel on overcoming common “last-mile” deployment challenges.
Topics:
Topics of interest for submission include, but are not limited to, the following areas:
- Advanced Predictive Analytics.
- Industrial Computer Vision
- Multivariate Time Series Forecasting
- Generative Models for Industrial Data
- Explainability, Fairness, and Robustness
- ML Operations (MLOps)
- AI for Engineering and Digital Twins
- Multimodal Learning Systems
- Smart transport and logistics in e-commerce
