The enclosed dataset comprises Raman spectra of cocaine hydrochloride (HCl) and its common adulterants measured using the handheld Agilent Resolve spatially offset Raman spectrometer equipped with 830 nm laser wavelength (Handheld Spectrometer, Portable SORS Raman Technology | Agilent). Adulterant included acetaminophen, baking powder, benzocaine, caffeine, calcium carbonate, custard powder, dextrose, Kendamil milk powder, lactose, lidocaine, levamisole, Nanny milk powder, Nido milk powder, procaine HCl, starch, talc and vanillin.
