The enclosed dataset includes conventional and surface enhanced Raman spectra (CR and SERS) for cocaine hydrochloride (CAS number 53-21-4), benzoyl ecgonine (CAS number 519-09-5) and paracetamol (CAS 103-90-2) solutions prepared in methanol:water (50:50) and synthetic oral fluid (SAE0149). Spectra of substances’ solutions were acquired using the Agilent Resolve handheld Raman spectrometer equipped with 830 nm laser wavelength. In CR mode, spectra were collected from each solution by measuring them through 2 mL glass vials using the vial holder. For SERS mode, both silver (in citrate buffer 10 nm diameter) and gold colloidal nanoparticles (in citrate buffer 20 nm and 40 nm diameter) were used alongside three aggregating agents being: lithium chloride, magnesium sulfate, potassium bromide and sodium chloride. The drug-colloid-aggregating agent solutions were measured also through 2 mL glass vial using the vial holder. In CR and SERS, spectra were collected in reflection mode over the wavenumber range of 350-2000 cm-1 and spectral resolution of 15 cm-1. Each vial was measured in triplicates. System check was performance at the start and end of measurements and also each 45 minutes during measurements.
