Synopsis:
Concepts of smart cities and smart living have gained huge momentum due to both the need for ubiquitous monitoring (e.g. preventative medicine, traffic control) and the development of sensors that can provide the required specifications (for e.g. autonomous vehicles and assisted driving). Cornerstones of this revolution are small, unobtrusive, low-cost sensors that operate wirelessly and with low power consumption. In this focused session, experts of academia and industry will gather to present the latest innovations in modern sensors technology, addressing the opportunities and challenges for sensors in smart cities and living applications.
Topics:
Expected contributions will focus on all aspects of sensing in smart cities and living: development of new sensors in various smart living aspects, wearable sensors, flexible sensors, wireless operation, IoT and Industry 4.0 role, AI and machine learning applications, interference, power consumption, Autonomous systems and driving, etc.
Paper Submission:
Prospective authors are invited to submit full-length papers (not exceeding 6 pages) conform to the IEEE format . All papers will be handled and processed electronically via the EDAS online submission system.
Submission implies the willingness of at least one of the authors to register and present their papers.
