Special Issues Journals 2019

Selected papers will be invited to submit to one of the following international journals:

Sensors Journal

Sensors is the leading international, peer-reviewed, open access journal on the science and technology of sensors and biosensors. Sensors is published monthly online by MDPI. Sensors special issue journal is indexed by the Science Citation Index Expanded (Web of Science), MEDLINE (PubMed), Ei Compendex, Inspec (IET) and other databases. Manuscripts are peer-reviewed and a first decision provided to authors approximately 24 days after submission; acceptance to publication is undertaken in 5.6 days (media value for 2017).

SPIIRAS Proceedings NOW open for Submission

The extended versions of the 12-th International Conference Developments in eSystems Engineering 2019 papers are invited for submission for a Special Issue of Journal «SPIIRAS Proceedings». The Special Issue will be indexed in Scopus and Web of Science (Q3, Computer Science, Mathematics). The papers will be peer-reviewed by Special Issue program committee.

Papers that could be submitted to the Special Issue of Journal should lie within the scope of the Journal and cover Information Security, Mathematical Modeling, Numerical Methods, AI, Knowledge and Data Engineering, Digital Information Telecommunication Technologies, Robotics, Automation and Control Systems. Manuscripts that lie outside the stated scope of the Journal will be rejected automatically at the screening stage, before the review process starts.

Paper submission is performed via author’s personal account on the Journal website http://proceedings.spiiras.nw.ru/index.php/sp/about/submissions.

At the registration authors are requested to complete all data fields of the form in order to facilitate and speed up metadata preparation for new papers.

Submissions:

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check their submission’s compliance with all of the following items (otherwise a submission may be rejected automatically at the screening stage, before the review process starts):

  • The paper has not been published previously and is not currently under review elsewhere.
  • The volume of the paper (excluding References section) is 20 to 30 pages inclusive.
  • The abstract of the paper contains 200 to 300 words.
  • Section References contains:

1) more than 20 references to scientific papers;

2) less than 20% of references to own works of the authors;

3) more than 50% of references to scientific papers refer to the papers that were published within the last five years (2015-2019).

Paper structure:

The article must conform to generally accepted standards:

  • have an overview of existing approaches with references to scientific publications of the past five years;
  • state the problem;
  • describe the novelty and essence of the proposed approach / model / method / algorithm / software or hardware;
  • present the results of experimental verification compared with modern analogs.

The paper must be divided into sections, of which the obligatory ones are Introduction, at least one section with scientific content and Conclusion. The paper could include subsections if necessary.

The number and the order of authors could not be changed after submitting an article for review.

 

Technical details for submissions:

The volume of the paper (excluding References section) is 20 to 30 pages inclusive

Each page is of A5 size that is 210 X 148 mm, portrait orientation

All margins: 20 mm

Font of the text: Times New Roman of 10 pt font size

Indention: 10 mm

Line spacing: single

Page headers and footers should be empty

Pages are not numbered

Hyphenations are allowed

Manuscript preparation:

The submissions could be prepared using MS Word or LaTeX.

For MS Word manuscripts authors should use MS Word 2007 text editor or higher versions and submit the manuscripts in *.docx format only.

For LaTeX manuscripts authors should submit the manuscripts for review in *. pdf format only. If the article is accepted, an archive with all source files, including fonts and graphics, should be uploaded.
