Session Committee:

Synopsis:

Bioinformatics is the field of science in which biology, computer science, and information technology merge into a single discipline and deals with the computational management and analysis of biological information: genes, genomes, proteins, cells, ecological systems, cell metabolic pathways, medical information, robots, and artificial intelligence. Use of this knowledge for prediction, modelling, and design. New measurement techniques produce huge quantities of biological data. Typical data sources produce noisy data with a lot of missing values Paradigm shift in biology to utilize bioinformatics in research. A particular active area of research in bioinformatics is the application and development of data mining techniques to solve biological problems. Analyzing large biological data sets requires making sense of the data by inferring structure or generalizations from the data.

This special session welcomes paper in the topics mentioned in the list below:

  • Structural bioinformatics
  • Mathematical Genetics Modelling
  • Splicing Site prediction
  • MiRNA prediction:
  • Protein folding:
  • Primer designing:
  • Computational Genomics:
  • Horizontal gene transfer
  • Forensic analysis
  • Genetic Assembly algorithms
  • Gene Prediction and Genome Annotation
  • Sequencing and Re-sequencing projects
  • Bioinformatics and Health Informatics

Paper Submission:

Prospective authors are invited to submit full-length papers (not exceeding 6 pages) conform to the IEEE format . All papers will be handled and processed electronically via the EDAS online submission system.

Submission implies the willingness of at least one of the authors to register and present their papers.
