Synopsis
eHealth is a recently introduced and generic term which describes the application of automation, engineering, information and communication technology to healthcare. The field is rapidly evolving and already provides new exciting improvements to the provision of healthcare, medicine, patient management and decision support forpractitioners. eHealth aims to provide future solutions to challenging problems in healthcare and its effective implementation through a predictive, preventive, personalised and participatory framework.
